Chris Ried
|
The Yankees aren't the only team bolstering its lineup. We've added an All-Star to
our team in Christopher Ried. Ried is the founder and former president of I-Publishers,
a competitor of Dealer Impact, whose experience will fortify our training and customer
support programs. Chris is known and respected throughout the industry and has spoken
at NADA and lectured to various 20 Groups. "Having competed against Dealer Impact for
the last five years, I'm excited to join the company and look forward to contributing
my expertise," said Ried. "Hopefully, this will be a home run for our clients and
future clients." Ried has a wealth of experience in developing successful Internet
marketing and training solutions for automobile dealerships and assisting them with
increasing their Internet sales. "This is exciting for Dealer Impact because of the
talent that Chris brings to the table," said Brian Cox, president of Dealer Impact
Systems. "Training and support have always been a major focus for our company.
Adding Chris's experience and knowledge will lead to even more successful training
and support programs for our clients."

2003 was a year of record growth for Dealer Impact and we’re on track for another great
year. We’re going 100 miles an hour at the moment and attempting to avoid the usual
growing pains of a successful company. Often, it is customer service that is the first
thing to be neglected as a company grows. Well, this growing company is adding an
internal solution to keep our ship, and yours, sailing smoothly. It’s called Helpdesk,
and it will improve our efficiency and customer support. It streamlines our internal
processes and communication, keeping projects on time and customers happy. Customer
service cannot be sacrificed in the name of growth.

Automakers are steering their products into more TV shows, films
By Julie Hinds
Detroit Free Press
Cars are stars, as everyone in Detroit already knows. But when it comes to product
placement in television and movies, automobiles are playing a bigger role than ever
before. On a recent episode of ABC's "Alias," a chase scene practically screeched to
a halt as the camera zoomed in on a Ford F150 logo. On NBC's "The Apprentice," a
Chrysler vehicle will play a role in one of the final tasks assigned to the show's
contestants. It's all about weaving products into entertainment in ways other than
traditional commercials. Sometimes, it's even about making your car a lead character.
General Motors is teaming up with USA Network on a TV movie inspired by the
Pontiac GTO.
