We've already started being "In Touch" so if you haven't heard from us, please hang up so we
can get in touch with you. It's a break from tradition and allows us to be a partner with
suggestions as well as the remedy.

Detailed Online Inventory__Automated and Easy
One of the challenges most dealers face in meeting the needs of the Internet shopper is providing
accurate, fully detailed information of their online inventory. That's why Dealer Impact Systems
has partnered with online inventory specialists to provide an automated process that makes it
easier for you to give consumers the information they want.
Your vehicle listings can be more accurate and fully detailed through a process which takes the
inventory from your Dealer Management System (PBS, EDS, UCS, Promax, Karpower, AutoMate,
AutoSoft, ADP Alliance, Adam, Arkon and others) and enhances it with more robust information
provided by companies like Chrome Systems (Chrome Systems collects, analyzes and enhances "raw"
automotive data from all manufacturers to provide accurate, normalized and impartial data on
more than 40 major makes and models, including exotics).
It's a "less is more" process allowing you to improve your online inventory management by doing
less. The benefits include:
- Online inventory updates seven days a week.
- Automated process
- Enhanced and accurate vehicle information
- VIN explosion
- Data feed to web listing services (cars.com, eBay, etc.)
- Control from your desktop
- Edit listings and upload photos
This Web-based system allows you to manage and update multiple or individual dealer inventory.

Best Automaker Web sites?
Dealer Impact weighs-in
J.D. Power released a survey recently that ranked automaker Web sites (see article In The News)
based on a survey of 11,500 new-vehicle buyers. We ask our own experts to take a take a look
at the results and weigh-in with their opinions. The top five automaker Web sites in the J.D.
Power survey are Hummer, Acura, Honda, Pontiac and Cadillac, in that order.
From J.A., Dealer Impact Systems Web Developer: "Hummer.com (#1) is entirely flashed based,
which automatically gives it an edge in the presentation category. They also follow up with
easy navigation, which is displayed on all pages and good content combined with an easy-to-use
layout/interface. Plus, they only have three models so any navigation problems showing models
are easily dealt with. Other manufacturers, like Chevy, have many models and direct links
make for some tricky navigation."

A Salute to the Stars
Congrats to our customers who are being honored by manufacturers for 2004 results.

affair with the SUV or, more recently, the arrival of fuel-sipping hybrid gas-electric vehicles.
It isn't even the tons of rebate cash and zero-interest financing that accompanies almost every
new car. It's the Internet.

Consumer view: "Web hasn't transformed car shopping"
By Paul Andrews
Seattle Times
Is the bloom off the e-commerce rose? As big marketing dollars migrate to the Web, sites seem to be tailoring the selling process to the needs of advertisers rather than those of the customer.
The result is increasing consumer frustration, as evidenced by a blizzard of e-mail in response to recent columns on Web travel sites, auctions and Amazon.com's customer-satisfaction rating.
Add another category to the whine list: automobile purchasing.
